Great Hill Maple
Handcrafted maple syrup made in Princeton, Massachusetts

About Us
We’re a small family maple syrup operation rooted in the woods of historic Princeton, Massachusetts. The name Great Hill Maple is an homage to our hometown Wachusett Mountain, which gets its name from an Abenaki word that translates to ‘great hill’. What started as a good way to get outside during the late winter and a turkey cooker has turned into a tradition we look forward to every year. We have been tapping the Red Maple and Sugar Maple trees around our property since 2020.Making maple syrup is a family effort; something we do alongside our day jobs and raising two young daughters. We go through several gallons ourselves each year for baking and, of course, pancakes and waffles. Every bottle comes from trees we know and a process we handle ourselves from start to finish. If you’re looking for meticulously crafted, pure Massachusetts maple syrup made the traditional way, we’d love to share some with you!
